Notes on A Prelude on the Babylonian Captivity of the Church

Silvester Prierias, born Mazolini de Prierio (1456-1523) in Prierio, forty miles west of Genoa. He was a Dominican Thomist who taught at Bologna and Venice. Served as Vicar General of Lombardy, Prior of Cremora, professor of theology at the Gymnasium Romanum and Magister Sacri Palatii.
